YonderCabin was designed to be the perfect modern mountain getaway, and we are excited to share our home with guests. Wake up to sunrises and endless views of the mountains while you sip coffee on the large deck or enjoy the spectacular sunsets getting warm by our outdoor fire pit table. The modern kitchen steals the show and is fully equipped and begs to be cooked in. Whether you just want to sit back and relax or enjoy the mountains for hikes, you'll enjoy beautiful views all around along with easy access to Murphy, Hayesville, and many other easily reachable mountain towns.
From the outside, YonderCabin appears like a traditional mountain cabin. On the inside, YonderCabin offers a modern, minimalist twist. Pull up a stool with friends and family to the gorgeous black granite waterfall countertop or sit by the contemporary, suspended Le Feu fireplace with views you'll never forget. If you drive an EV, our Level 2 charger will top off your vehicle's batteries while you rest.
Gregg and Michèle Hake built YonderCabin as a follow-on project to YonderHaus, a Swiss-inspired modern home on a 5 acre farm in Lula, Georgia. Their property investment strategy is simple: build comfortable, minimalist, modern homes in places they love to visit and share them with the world.
Completed in 2022, the 2 bedroom/2 bath YonderCabin offers comfortable short or long-term stays for 4 guests and their fur babies.
The master suite has a king bed, European duvets and linens, breathtaking views and access to the spacious wraparound deck with outdoor seating. The second bedroom has two full beds (can be joined as a queen), European duvets and linens, and a private bathroom.
The kitchen will wow you! Our matte black cabinets, black granite countertops, stainless appliances, and well-stocked kitchen make cooking at "home," entertaining in the evening, or as easy as a Sunday morning.

YonderCabin sits between Murphy, Andrews, and Hayesville NC. Hiawassee, Young Harris, and Blairsville, GA are all within easy reach.
If you're arriving by private plane, Western Carolina Regional Airport (RHP) is 21 miles away. The nearest commercial airport to Murphy is Knoxville (TYS) Airport which is 50 miles away. Other nearby airports include Chattanooga (CHA) (66.2 miles), Atlanta (ATL) (103.3 miles) and Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) (104.4 miles).
For the outdoor enthusiast, hiking, tubing, boating, mountain biking, and off-roading options abound. Breweries, wineries and restaurants.
Lake Chatuge, Nottely Lake and Persimmon Lake are all within easy reach, as are the hiking, picnicking and exploring opportunities in Nantahala National Forest, Cherokee National Forest, Chattachoochee National Forest, and Fires Creek WMA. Rafting, kayaking, and tubing spots around the area incredible too!
